Heavy body impression materials are only used as the first stage of mold making and are suitable for customized dental treatment molds that are not high-precision. If more precise mold removal is required, it should be used with a light body impression material (two-stage). We recommend that the second stage be completed by a professional dentist.

Q1. What should be noted before use?

Use non latex gloves (nitrile gloves are recommended) and non sulfur-containing rubber barriers throughout the entire process.

Check the ratio of substrate/catalyst.

Choose the dental tray that fits your size. （Glorysmile Kit defaults to size M and can be purchased in other sizes)

Q2. Precautions for use.

Strictly follow the instructions in the manual for phased operation according to the specified time.

1. Open your mouth as wide as possible and place the tray in a tilted direction towards the dental arch (without touching the front area of the teeth)
2. Align the tray with the posterior tooth area first.
3. Gently press the posterior tooth area for preparation.
4. Follow up pressing in the pre dental area.
5. Direction of application: Apply gentle and continuous pressure vertically (avoid shaking or applying lateral force)
6. Close your lips before solidification and avoid swallowing or speaking.

Q3. How to successfully remove the mold after solidification？

Key Actions: 

Broken edge: Quickly move downwards along the gum line (without moving left or right) with a small displacement to release the edge closure.
Overall removal: Keep the tray level and slowly remove it as a whole (to avoid tearing in sections).
Inspection: Immediately observe the integrity of the impression, and if there is tearing, it needs to be re taken.

Q4. What should be done after taking the mold?

Disinfection: Rinse saliva → soak in neutral disinfectant (such as chlorhexidine, alcohol/aldehydes are prohibited) → 10 minutes.
Storage: After rinsing, gently blow dry with oil-free air → store in a sealed bag at room temperature → mold the finished product or send it to a clinic institution.

Q5. Why did I fail to take the mold?

If you are a non dental operator, we recommend that you strictly follow the instructions for use, and suggest that you take multiple molds and send them together to your dentist or institution.
